We have used cedar timber for the inside and outside finish of this stand alone outdoor wellness cabin, which originates from responsibly managed forests. Dimmable full spectrum heaters were installed, which heat up the cabin to a pleasant temperature only after a few minutes, thus a minimum power use. The infrared heaters switch off automatically so there is no power wasted if the cabin is not in use.

Molenheide or Park Molenheide is the name of a nature and recreation park of no less than 180 hectares located in the Belgian Limburg in the North of Helchteren municipality. Fallow deer, roe deer and wild boar run in this wildlife-hiking park, and above all you can enjoy walking or cycling. The holiday park is also named Molenheide. It perfectly meets the needs of a restful holiday and is one of the most child-friendly bungalow parks in Belgium with several indoor and outdoor activities. The holiday homes have been all furnished with care and good taste and they are spread around the park. A number of new ‘Zen’ bungalows have been installed to meet the increasing demand for individual comfort. The name ‘Zen’ fits perfectly with the furnishing of these cottages for four persons. The upper floor has 2 cosy sleeping rooms. On the ground floor there is spacious living room with a sitting area. There is also a wellness room with a massage chair and a bathtub. The fenced garden is arranged in the same style as the cottage, and here is where the private infrared sauna was installed. As the park uses only green energy, we had to build our infrared sauna the same way. The interior and exterior finishes were furnished in cedar wooden profiles originating from responsibly managed forests. The installed infrared heaters increase the temperature in the cabin in a few minutes only, and thus a minimum power consumption. The infrared heaters also switch off automatically so that no energy is lost when the cabin is not used.
